Olivia Rebelo
BSW, MA, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Olivia Amber Rebelo is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who provides thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative support to teens and adults navigating life’s challenges. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Carleton University.
Olivia works with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and challenges related to emotional regulation, self-understanding, and relationships. She has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those navigating the lasting effects of difficult or overwhelming experiences. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed, with an appreciation for how our experiences shape the ways we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and exposure-based therapies, Olivia tailors her work to each individual’s unique needs and goals. She also incorporates attachment-focused and schema-based approaches to help clients explore longstanding patterns, develop greater emotional awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Olivia believes therapy should be a space where individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward at their own pace. She strives to create a collaborative and non-judgmental environment where clients can deepen their understanding of themselves, develop practical tools, and work toward a greater sense of confidence and well-being.
Outside of the therapy room, Olivia enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and playing Ringette during the winter months.
